New York got a taste of contemporary Scotland in Spring 2002 with a three day event that showcased the dynamism of Caledonian cultural life. Distilled presented leading Scottish musicians, DJs, writers, visual and performing artists who came together in a programme of live performance events and seminars. For this unique event the Boylan Studios, at 601 West 26th Street, was transformed into a unique space capturing the essence of contemporary Scottish cool.
